Teena Y. Miller joined the law firm of Gold, Khourey & Turak as an associate in 2014 and became partner in 2019. Prior to joining GKT, she was an insurance defense attorney for 14 years for one of the largest firms in West Virginia.

Teena has a unique insight into personal injury cases, and her experience is a valuable asset when representing people seriously injured or killed as a result of someone else’s negligence. She knows first-hand the strategies, tactics and defenses that insurance companies use against accident victims. Her personal injury practice includes automobile and trucking accidents, DUI-related crashes, slip and falls, and wrongful death. Teena is particularly interested in serious accidents involving tractor trailers, and she has received training in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act (FMCSA).

Teena says, “Although there may be similarities with respect to certain kinds of cases, each situation has a different set of facts that are only true to your individual case. I take pride in getting to know your situation, and in getting to know you and your family so I can provide the best course of action to obtain the compensation and justice you deserve.”

In 1995, Teena graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College. While completing her undergraduate degree, she served as Alpha Gamma Delta Philanthropy Chairperson, mentored local children, participated in Big Brothers/Big Sisters and received numerous educational accolades including Presidential Scholar and Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

In 2000, Teena graduated with her law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law. In law school, she was named Who’s Who Among American Law Students and received the Holderness Moot Court Gressman-Pollitt Award for Best Oral Argument.

Teena is licensed to practice law in Ohio and West Virginia. She is affiliated with American Mensa and the West Virginia, Ohio, and Ohio County Bar Associations.
