Roundup Herbicide Lawyers
Roundup is a broad-spectrum systemic herbicide and crop desiccant used to kill weeds, especially annual broadleaf weeds and grasses that can destroy crops.
In March 2015, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported that being exposed to Roundup is likely to cause cancer, even though Monsanto had previously marketed this product to consumers as being “environmentally friendly” and “biodegradable.” Roundup has since been linked to serious side effects, which include: Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, lymphocytic lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia and more.
On August 10, 2018, a California jury ordered Monsanto to pay $289 million in damages to a school groundskeeper who developed terminal cancer after years of using Roundup. Monsanto will appeal.
Gold, Khourey & Turak is now reviewing claims from individuals who have used the popular product Roundup® and were diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL). Specifically, it is believed that gardeners, farm workers, landscapers and other agricultural workers could have been exposed to larger amounts of Roundup, and are at a higher risk for developing cancer, chronic lymphocytic leukemia and more.
