Bronco League Field Directions

I-470 Fields
From Bridgeport, Ohio: Travel I-70 East to Elm Grove exit #4. Bear right at bottom of ramp. At first traffic light (near the bank) turn right and cross the small bridge. Continue straight until you see Domino’s Pizza. The road to the I-470 fields is on the right, across from Domino’s. Look for the J.B. Chambers Complex, Wheeling Housing Authority, and Mason Rehab signs. Continue back this road and up the hill to the fields.

From Washington, PA: Travel I-70 West to Elm Grove exit #5. Turn left onto National Road. At first traffic light, turn right. At the next traffic light, turn left (at the bank and cross the small bridge). Continue straight until you see Domino’s Pizza. The road to the I-470 fields is on the right, across from Domino’s. Look for the J.B. Chambers Complex, Wheeling Housing Authority, and Mason Rehab signs. Continue back this road and up the hill to the fields.

Bethlehem
Field: Community Park
Traveling East or West on I-470: Take Bethlehem exit. If traveling West, take a right at the top of the exit ramp. If traveling East, take a left at the top of the exit ramp. Continue for approximately 100 yards, look for sign on the right that is the entrance to Bethlehem Community Park. Turn down hill to the field.

Dallas Pike
Field: Dallas Pike
From Wheeling: Travel I-70 East to Dallas Pike Exit. Turn left at bottom of exit ramp, drive under the interstate, then turn right (you will pass the Dallas Pike Truck Stop). Travel approximately 1 ½ miles (about ½ mile past the pinto/mustang field). Look for sign on telephone pole that indicates “Bronco Field.” Turn left onto asphalt driveway in between two houses to the field.

East Wheeling
Field: Tunnel Green
From Benwood: Travel Rt. 2 North, take 18th Street exit. Take right onto 18th Street, this should be the first right off the exit ramp. Keep going straight, the street will take you back under and to the other side of Route 2. You’ll come to a stop sign at the end of 18th Street. If you look across the street and slightly to your right, you’ll see a street and a sign that indicates Tunnel Green Field. This road will put you parallel to route 2 and take you right into the ball field.

From Dallas Pike: Travel I-70 West. Take Rt. 2 south/Moundsville exit (This exit is the last exit before entering the Wheeling Tunnels). As you descend from the exit ramp onto Rt. 2, you will be able to see the field if you look to your left. Take the first exit off Route 2, this is the 16th Street exit. Take a left onto Wood Street (Neely’s Grocery store will be on your left. You’ll need to yield left.). Go straight, then make a left onto 18th Street. You’ll come to a stop sign at the end of 18th Street. If you look across the street and slightly to your right, you’ll see a street and a sign that indicates Tunnel Green Field. This road will put you parallel to route 2 and take you right into the ball field.

From Warren Township: Travel Rt. 7 South, take the Bridgeport, OH exit. At the traffic signal, take a left across the bridge and onto Wheeling Island. Continue across the Island and back on I-70 East. Take I-70 East through the Wheeling Tunnels (After you immediately exit the tunnels, you will take the exit on your left - Rt. 2 south/Moundsville. As you descend from the exit ramp onto Rt. 2, you will be able to see the field if you look to your left. Take the first exit off Route 2, this is the 16th Street exit. Elm Grove
Field: Patterson
From Dallas Pike: Travel I-70 West to Elm Grove exit #5. Turn left at bottom of exit ramp (Rt. 40 West) to 4-way stop light (McDonald’s). Turn left at 4-way light. Travel to Sycamore Avenue and turn right (if you go to the Convenient, you’ve gone too far). Continue straight on Sycamore Avenue, field will be on your left.

From Wheeling Island: Travel I-70 East to Elm Grove exit #5. Turn left at bottom of exit ramp (Rt. 40 West) to 4-way stop light (McDonald’s). Turn left at 4-way light. Travel to Sycamore Avenue and turn right (if you go to the Convenient, you’ve gone too far). Continue straight on Sycamore Avenue, field will be on your left.

Glen Dale
Field: Glen Dale
From Wheeling: Travel Rt. 2 south to Glen Dale. Turn left on 9th Street (just after Reynold's Memorial Hospital). Field is located behind the hospital.

McMechen
Field: McMechen
From Wheeling: From the I-470 interchange - Travel Rt. 2 South for approximately 4 ½ miles. Turn right on Industrial Park Road. Travel about 100 yards and turn left. Field is located beside Blattner Truss Company. Field can be seen from Rt. 2.

Mt. Olivet
Field: Mt. Olivet
From Dallas Pike: I-70 West to I-470. Off I-470, take Bethlehem exit. Turn left at top of ramp. Travel approximately .4 miles and bear right on Rt. 88 (don’t go down the hill). Travel approximately 3 miles on Rt. 88. Fields will be located on the right.

From Wheeling: Travel I-470 East. Take Bethlehem exit. Turn right at top of exit. Travel approximately .4 miles and bear right on Rt. 88 (don’t go down the hill). Travel approximately 3 miles on Rt. 88. Fields will be located on the right.

Mozart
Field: Mozart
From Rt. 2 North and South: Take 26th Street exit, turn left in front of state police barracks, go thru light to 29th Street .(Dairy Queen on the right and State Farm bldg. on the left.) Turn left at stop light, travel .5 mi. until you see a fork in the road.(car wash on left, uniform store in front, Pizza Villa on right). Turn right at fork, travel ¼ mi. until you reach another fork in the road (graveyard on right),turn right across bridge (Fairmont Ave.) and up the hill approx.2 mi. At the top of the hill, stop at stop sign (Incline Bar on the left, gravel parking lot on the right). Turn right onto Carl Street, follow road thru neighborhood until (approx. 1/4 mi.) you reach another fork. Follow gravel road down hill thru white fence( approx.1/4 mi.),turn left and follow road until you reach ballfield (approx. 100yds.)

From Elm Grove: Take 29th Street to Bethlehem and follow road down the hill until you reach the bottom of 29th Street (car wash on the right, uniform store on the left),turn left. Follow road ¼ mi. until you reach another fork in the road (graveyard on right),turn right across bridge (Fairmont Ave.) and up the hill approx.2 mi. At the top of the hill, stop at stop sign (Incline Bar on the left, gravel parking lot on the right). Turn right onto Carl Street, follow road thru neighborhood until (approx. 1/4mi.) you reach another fork. Follow gravel road down hill thru white fence( approx.1/4 mi.),turn left and follow road until you reach ballfield (approx. 100 yds.)

Pike
Field: Pleasanton
Traveling East or West on I-70: Take Washington Avenue exit. Follow Washington Avenue approximately .5 miles to Valley View Avenue. Turn left onto Valley View Avenue. Continue straight, field will be on your right.

From West Liberty: Travel Rt. 88 to National Road. Turn left onto National Road. Go to 2nd traffic light (Washington Avenue). At traffic light, turn right. Immediately after you cross the bridge (near the church), turn right. Continue straight. Field will be on your left.

South Wheeling
Field: Pulaski
From Wheeling: Travel North on Rt. 2 toward Benwood. Take Boggs Run exit. Turn right off exit ramp, go under over-pass. Continue straight, past Wendy’s and Value City, to 47th Street. Turn right on 47th Street. Field is on the left.

From McMechen: Travel South on Rt. 2. Take Boggs Run exit. Turn left off exit ramp, go under over-pass. Continue straight, past Wendy’s and Value City, to 47th Street. Turn right on 47th Street. Field is on the left.

Warren Township
Field: Warren Township
From Wheeling: Travel Rt. 7 North to the Tiltonsville (Farm Lane) Exit. Turn right off ramp and go to stop sign (Marathon Service Station). Turn left, go two blocks and turn right on Hodgens Avenue.

Warwood
Field: Garden Park
From Wheeling: Travel Rt. 2 North through Warwood. Make a left turn onto N. 14th Street. Field is located next to swimming pool.

Wheeling Island
Field: Belle Isle
From WV side: Travel I-70 West through Wheeling Tunnels. Take Exit 0, Wheeling Island exit. Turn right onto N. York Street, this is the street immediately after Madison School. After several blocks, N. York turns into N. Front Street. Continue on N. Front Street to north end of the island. Field is located at northern end of island.

From Warren Township: Rt. 7 South, take Bridgeport, OH exit. Turn left at first traffic light and cross bridge to Wheeling Island. Turn left onto N. York Street, this is the street just before Madison School. After several blocks, N. York turns into N. Front Street. Continue on N. Front Street to north end of the island. Field is located at northern end of island.
