Christopher M. Turak focuses his practice in the area of personal injury, with a special interest in representing victims injured or killed by drunk drivers. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, he joined the law firm in 2000.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Turak spent 15 years as a salesman. He contributes much of his success as a salesman to understanding his clients, understanding their needs, and treating each client with the respect they deserve. This approach has carried over to his law practice. As an attorney, Mr. Turak takes pride in getting to know his clients, and handling each client’s case with professionalism and care.

When Mr. Turak isn’t practicing law, he’s making a difference in the community. Each year he visits numerous local high schools as part of an anti-drinking and driving program called, Booze and Cruise, You’ll Lose, which was founded by Gold, Khourey & Turak in 1992 in an effort to educate the community about the legal, financial, and

personal consequences of driving under the influence. The program sponsors include the West Virginia State Police, the Wheeling Nailers, and WTOV-TV 9. Their message encourages individuals to always make the safe decision concerning alcohol and drugs, and driving. In addition, he teams with WTOV-TV 9 to promote free cab rides home each New Year’s Eve/Day in an effort to discourage drinking and driving.

He also coordinates a Mock D.U.I. crash and D.U.I. trial each year at a local high school, usually around Prom and is Board President of the Marshall County FRN, Marshall County Bar President, and also attends St. Joseph's Cathedral.

Mr. Turak lives in Wheeling with his wife, Shawn, who is the assistant prosecuting attorney in Ohio County, and his two sons: Matthew and Tommy.
