3rd Annual Law Enforcement Picnic A Success Quite possibly the most secure place to be this weekend was at The Barn on 4th Street in Moundsville, where more than 200 law enforcement officers, staff members and their families gathered for some food, fun, and games at the 3rd Annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Day Picnic. The picnic was provided by the law firm of Gold, Khourey & Turak and the Booze and Cruise, Youll Lose program to recognize our local law enforcement agencies continued efforts to stop drinking and driving. We recognize the officers dedication, and the constant struggles endured each and every day to combat this pervasive yet preventable problem says the former Gold, Khourey and Turak attorney Rich Wilson, who served as the Booze and Cruise, Youll Lose Program Coordinator. These folks are on the front lines, putting their lives at stake in order to protect our families and other innocent people on the road. Wilson continues, Because of these efforts, we wanted to provide a way to show our support of the local law enforcement agencies. This years picnic was well represented by various agencies including, Moundsville Police Department, Marshall County Sheriffs Department, Ohio County Sheriffs Department, Wheeling Police Department, West Virginia State Police (Moundsville and Wheeling detachments), Benwood Police Department, Glen Dale Police Department, McMechen Police Department, and the Cameron Police Department. For more information about the picnic, please contact Gold, Khourey & Turak at (304) 845-9750 or toll free at (800) 388-2529. Click here to view photos of this years event.
