Gold, Khourey & Turak would like to invite all local police officers, fire personnel and their family members to the 5th Annual Law Enforcement & Fire Safety Appreciation Day Picnic on Saturday, September 27, 2003. Our firm founded the event to recognize those individuals who put their lives on the line every day in order to keep our families and communities safe. The picnic is our way of showing our appreciation for the efforts of our local police and fire departments, and provides us the opportunity to meet and say thanks to those individuals who protect us throughout the year. The picnic is FREE and is provided by Gold, Khourey & Turak for local police officers, fire personnel, and their families. The picnic is NOT open to the public.

Over the past four years, nearly 1,400 police officers, fire personnel, and their family members have attended our picnic. Last year nearly 500 people attended and we expect another large turn-out this year. Click here to see if your department was represented at last year's picnic.

This year's picnic is sure to be fun for the entire family. Highlights include the Indoor AIS Prism Firearm Simulator, live music provided by "Smoke Daddy & The Crawfish", performances by the River City Dancers, and of course, the food which will be catered by Chef James & his staff from Café' Burress. Children will be able to enjoy a number of activities throughout the day, including a Velcro Wall, Jumping House, Fire Safety House, Craft Station, and more. Adults may want to participate in volleyball, football, horseshoes, or guess how fast you can throw a baseball at the "Speed Pitch" game, or simply sit back and enjoy the afternoon.
