Local Attorney Among Nation's Top LitigatorsDonald M. Kresen, attorney and partner with the Moundsville firm of Gold, Khourey & Turak, has been invited by the American Trial Lawyers Association to speak on the topic of "Medicare Subrogation Claims." The conference, which will take place the weekend of September 12th at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada, will feature "the best plaintiff pharmaceutical litigators in the nation." Kresen has been asked to share his knowledge, strategies, and experiences with other lawyers from across the country concerning the representation of victims of subrogation claims. Kresen will draw upon his experience as lead counsel in numerous successful class actions in state and federal courts, where he has obtained multi-million dollar verdicts at trial and many more in settlement. Kresen's cases have been covered in the L.A. Times, Smart Money, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and featured on Good Morning America. Kresen concentrates his practice in the areas of industrial accidents, insurance bad faith, class actions, and mass tort litigation. He is a member of the Bars of West Virginia and Pennsylvania, American Trial Lawyers Association, West Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, Trial Lawyers for Public Justice, and has served on the Board of Governors of the Southern Trial Lawyers Association since 1995. Kresen is a graduate of Penn State University and the California Western School of Law.
